After disembarking from the ferry in Esbjerg, our route heads north on Rt 12 towards Varde. Here it joins Rt 11, which continues north past Holstebro and on to Thisted.
As Rt 11 turns east, we continue north on Rt 26 to Ræhr and finally northwest into Hanstholm.
Hanstholm is an important fishing port, so there is plenty to see at the harbour. Alternatively, explore the wooded surrounds of the hotel or just relax in the hotel's swimming pool and leisure facilities.
